A Army Ghost Story
David, an officer staying in the camp, lived in the room next to his NCO (non-commissioned-officer). Every morning, David would wake up, do his daily morning routine, then wake up his NCO next door and they would go for breakfast together at the camp canteen.
This lasted for quite some time until…
One morning, David knocked on the NCO ’s door as usual. Instead of the NCO ’s familiar voice answering, he heard an eerie, inhuman-like voice answer from behind him.
“Wait, You cannot wait, is it?”
He was stunned; he stood rooted to the ground, too scared and confused to react. Just then, he heard the sound of a car horn. He quickly ran to the driveway and told the driver of the car about his strange experience. The driver decided to try it for himself, and soon both were back outside the NCO ‘s door.
The driver knocked on the door…
The same voice, also from the back, whispered, “Wait, You cannot wait, is it?”
Both of them screamed and ran to the canteen.
What do you think is the explanation for this supernatural incident? Could it be hallucination? But then, isn’t it coincidental that two people could hallucinate the same thing?
And what do you think happened to the NCO?
When David and the driver reached the canteen, they saw the NCO there happily eating his breakfast.
Apparently, the NCO is well aware of the mysterious, eerie voice that haunted David. He even talks to the voice, which lived in his room.
And David was so scared that he immediately applied for a transfer of room.
